SUS430 Ferritic Stainless Steel Plate/Coil Introduction
SUS430 is a ferritic stainless steel standardized in JIS G4304/G4305. It contains 16–18% chromium and low carbon, offering good corrosion resistance and formability, but cannot be hardened by heat treatment. It is magnetic and widely used for interior architectural panels, kitchen equipment, and automotive trim due to its combination of moderate strength, cost-effectiveness, and resistance to mild environments.
