Laser-cut ASTM A36 steel plate parts for agricultural machinery, for a customer in Colombia

Columbia's steel cutting parts for agricultural machinery are made from steel plates based on the ASTM A36 standard and are specifically designed and manufactured for the assembly of agricultural machinery components for local customers.

Why use ASTM A36 steel plates?

In the agricultural machinery manufacturing sector, equipment often must withstand high-intensity loads and vibrations in challenging outdoor environments. As one of the most widely used low-carbon structural steels, ASTM A36 not only offers excellent weldability and mechanical strength but also possesses good formability and machinability, making it an ideal material for manufacturing robust and durable agricultural machinery chassis, suspension systems, and custom structural components.

High-Precision Laser Cutting (Laser Cutting)

Components cut from ASTM A36 standard steel plates feature irregular serrated or star-shaped contours, complete with precise center mounting holes. To perfectly replicate the customer's design, our technical team first conducted an in-depth analysis and digital layout of the CAD drawings provided by the customer. During the machining phase, we employ advanced CNC laser cutting technology. Compared to traditional cutting methods, laser cutting ensures smooth, burr-free edges and a minimal heat-affected zone, thereby preventing deformation of the steel plates during processing. The high-precision cutting paths perfectly match the dimensions specified in the drawings, ensuring a seamless assembly process.

Rigorous Final Product Inspection and Measurement

The vitality of industrial components lies in their precision. After processing was completed, our quality control department carried out rigorous measurement procedures. As shown in our on-site photos, our team of quality control engineers strictly adhered to the technical requirements specified in the drawings, using high-precision vernier calipers and steel tape measures to conduct multi-point re-measurements of key data such as sheet thickness, inner hole diameter, and outer contour span. Every rigorous inspection is designed to ensure that our client in Colombia can achieve zero-error mechanical assembly upon receiving the products.
