This grade provides excellent cold formability and weldability owing to its low carbon content and controlled composition. Mechanical properties are determined at room temperature on test pieces taken in the rolling direction as per JIS G3132. The tensile test uses JIS No.5 specimen for thickness up to 3.2 mm and No.1A specimen for thickness over 3.2 mm.
