WStE460 is a normalized or normalized rolled weldable fine-grain structural steel defined by DIN 17102. It belongs to the carbon and low-alloy high-strength group, offering a minimum yield strength of 460 MPa with excellent toughness and weldability. The micro-alloying with elements such as niobium, vanadium and titanium ensures fine grain structure and improves both strength and low-temperature impact properties.
