ASTM A131 AH40 Shipbuilding Steel Coil Mechanical Properties

Mechanical properties for AH40 steel plate/coil are specified at room temperature after appropriate heat treatment or TMCP. Impact test temperatures and minimum energy values are requirement for the 'A' grade designation. Tensile testing is performed in accordance with ASTM A370.
